Accurate and Encouraging!
I’m new to podcasts and to OYF but I cannot get enough of Caleb and Verlynda! Their wisdom and advice are well researched, calmly and openly expressed, and so very true! I began my search for podcasts to improve my marriage and family life and landed here. After my first listen I knew I would stick around. I found a few episodes specific to recent situations and struggles in my life and, once, was even brought to tears as I listened and recognized myself in a stage Caleb was describing. Thank you for the sound advice and information, for the tips and explanations provided in each episode. You are helping me process issues in myself and issues in my marriage and ways to restore and improve my relationship with my spouse. I cannot recommend this podcast enough!
Information is outstanding
My husband and I recently separated and I’ve been devouring this info to learn more about myself. It’s because of this podcast that I opted for a therapeutic separation instead of divorce. I really enjoy and appreciate the content and production value. As an American I find their Canadian accents endearing. Thanks for a great show!
Insightful & Helpful
10/10 -What an absolute awesome podcast. The wisdom & insight shared, that is derived from a foundation of Christian principles can be implemented immediately.
Sensitive, precise and encouraging
I enjoy how specific the episodes are—this has helped me to think more carefully about the different challenges a marriage faces, rather than feeling overwhelmed by a general discouragement. Both hosts are very skilled communicators who are sensitive and helpfully professional.
Binge listening Great information!
Found this looking for marriage podcasts and was elated to find out it was Christian based and went back and started to listen from podcast 1 and am in the sixties. Thank you. I love the interviews, information, but especially Caleb and Verlinda's honesty that they aren't perfect and are still working on the issues they are teaching us.
